Special Education School PA administration team worked together at an approved private school where they all served as top administrators. However, they were very disappointed in the best practices of using restraints to regulate students who were escalated from their last school. Each of our administration Employees has decided that and believes there was a better way to help students learn to self-regulate and one that would treat students in a Humane manner. Dr. Jennings set out to find strategies where students would be supported in an environment free from Hands-On practices and strategies that would take safety into account.
She found the perfect Behavior practice called Ukeru and we now practice it here at our Special Education School PA she presented this to the team and everyone agreed that we had to open an academic where students and staff would be free from physical and emotional harm. it is also important to this team that the work environment is a safe place for not only the students but the staff as well. together they created systems that provided students with the safe environment as well as they’re free to learn through making mistakes and having their own choices while using their own voice and experimentation. students will learn how to self-regulate and learn what triggers them and how to avoid the triggers they learn they are not alone and who could help support them when they’re in our facility.
Since 2018 we have been enrolling students here at Special Education School PA Who we have found by attending us a family of Educators who care and strive each day to provide the best support system and write your sacraments that will Propel attending students to continue growing in all aspects of their life since then we have found that we enjoy what we do and provide the perfect educational purposes as well as emotional support and order to allow students to grow in their lives and in all aspects for the next chapter in their life. We strive for other students to learn and grow through our program and ensure the best education and environment for our students.
Our staff is all so sweet and supportive in each of their students needs they want the best for their students in order for them to achieve greatness in not only educational purposes but the emotional needs that they are needing to be met as well. Many of our students learn techniques that help them control and regulate their behavior and anger and we are thrilled to be able to provide them with the opportunity of doing so. This is a great way to learn and thrive in all aspects.

Special Education School PA has amazing team members who love what they do and that is what makes our intuition the best because we love the way we teach and want the best for our students in order for them to achieve the greatness that we all know they are capable of. Our friendly staff allows the students in our school to feel safe and make it enjoyable for them to want to come to class and strive to learn new things as well as methods that can help them regulate their emotions. Dr. Janine is the CEO of our school with Special Education School PA, She is an accomplished senior executive with more than 30 years of success in the education, medical, engineering, tech, electronics, security, and Healthcare industries. Her broad expertise includes business development, technology, educational coaching, cultural assessment, and Leadership development. moreover, throughout her career, she has helped lead positions at Whitehall High School, amuse High school, twin High School, etc. in these roles she has supported several students with autism disorder, intellectual disabilities, serious emotional disturbances, and other neurological impairments. in addition, she has established business Partnerships for high school students to participate and work opportunities, internships, and dual enrollment with community colleges. after successfully starting three schools with various organizations one being Building 21 Allentown High School. she focused solely on the emotionally disturbed population. she was excited to launch Keystone in 2018 with a mission to bring freedom to learning for students who struggle with traditional education due to social, emotional and behavior challenges.
Here we understand each student’s unique needs and incorporate a comprehensive career curriculum that includes the ukeru for behavioral management at Special Education School PA we also use techniques that says stream, drama-informed care strategies, restorative practices, Second Step social and emotional curriculum, and school-wide positive behavior interventions and strategies. We Thrive to keep our students emotionally stable and teach them more ways to deal with their emotions rather than being angry or upset,
One of the many reasons that Dr. Janine has decided to establish this school is because she believed that if we are able to focus solely on the emotionally disturbed population and are able to help and find strategies that help them balance those emotions and help students learn how to self-regulate while treating our students in a humane manner.
